As part of a training programme led by women entrepreneur Mrs. Smitha Shaji, students of Darul Hidaya Women’s College have taken their first step into small-scale entrepreneurship. The initiative focuses on the production of natural beauty and personal care products.
The students began by manufacturing a variety of products including different types of soaps, lip balms, and face washes using natural ingredients. The programme aims to equip students with practical entrepreneurial skills while encouraging self-employment opportunities.
Teachers and students involved in the initiative have decided to bring these products to the market in the coming days, marking a promising start for student-led small enterprises at the college.
