Day 2 of Induction Programme Held with Diverse Sessions

Pookkarathara: The second day of the induction programme organized for first-year degree students at K.V. Usthad Memorial Darul Hidaya Arts & Science College was conducted with a variety of awareness sessions.

Special sessions were held to introduce students to the various clubs and committees of the college. Soumya Anil spoke about NSS activities, Aswathi introduced the Readers’ Club, Nishida explained the Ethnographic Club, and Ambili spoke about the Sports Club. They highlighted the activities of each club and the opportunities available for students.

Following this, IT Coordinator Amritha introduced the college website. She explained the various online services available through the website, academic information, and digital facilities beneficial to students.

In the afternoon, an anti-drug awareness class was conducted by Adv. Jaison P. Jose. He explained the harmful effects of increasing substance abuse among youth, its legal aspects, and preventive measures. An interactive discussion session with active student participation was a major highlight of the programme.
