On 19 November 2025, the Department of Geology at KVM D.H. Arts and Science College organized a GIS Workshop as part of the GIS Day celebrations. The program aimed to create awareness about Geographic Information Systems and to provide hands-on training to students. Various sessions were conducted covering the fundamentals of GIS, its applications in geological studies, and practical demonstrations using GIS software. The workshop received active participation from students and faculty, making the event informative and successful.
