As part of the observance of International Women’s Day, the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) jointly organized a special programme on March 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
The highlight of the programme was the felicitation of entrepreneur and Certified Natural Cosmetics Expert Mrs. Smitha Shaji. The honour was organized in recognition of her contributions and to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and the capabilities of women in society.
Students and teachers participated in the programme. During the session, Mrs. Smitha Shaji shared her experiences and insights on opportunities available for women in the field of entrepreneurship, possibilities of self-employment, and the production of natural cosmetics.
The programme conveyed the message that the strength and talents of women play a significant role in the progress of society. It also served as an inspiring experience for the students who attended the event.
