Geology Department Organizes Nelliampathy Field Visit on International Mountain Day

On the occasion of International Mountain Day, the Geology Department Association Terra of K.V.U.M D.H.O Arts and Science College organized a field visit to Nelliampathy under the theme “From Classrooms to Mountain Trails.”

The field visit provided students with practical exposure to mountainous terrains, geological formations, and natural landscapes, enhancing their academic understanding beyond classroom learning. The programme encouraged experiential learning and highlighted the importance of mountains and their conservation.
