A Faculty Development Programme was held at Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, under the auspices of the Consortium of Self-Finance Colleges, Edappal Chapter.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Assabah College President Mr. P. P. M. Asharaf. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Muhammad Koya M.N, Principal of Assabah Arts & Science College. The programme was formally inaugurated by Adv. P. K. Khalimudheen, Syndicate Member, University of Calicut.
Janab P. V. Muhammad Maulavi presided over the function. Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Unni Elias Musthafa, Professor & Dean, School of Education, Central University of Kerala, and Mr. Muhammad Unni Haji, General Secretary of Assabah College.
Representatives from various college managements, principals, and faculty members participated in the programme. Dr. Hashim Thadathil, Principal of K.V. Ustad College, and Mr. Asharaf Ali, Director of Royal College of Arts and Science, offered felicitations.
In the technical session that followed, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Unni Elias Musthafa delivered an insightful lecture on “Higher Education Institutions: Decoding the Structural and Functional Landscape.” He emphasized that the primary aim of the programme is the empowerment and academic strengthening of institutions and their faculty.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Baiju M. K., Vice Principal.
